Arrowhead ‘79

DEDICATION

Somebody once said if you love your work it shows. It shows through your dedication, patience, kindness, and your ability.

Dedication means trying and then trying again - going one step further just to make life a little easier for someone else.

Patience means not losing your temper even under very trying circumstance. It means saying "no, that's not right, but I'll show you again."

Kindness means a genuine concern for the people around you. It shows compassion and a belief that everybody has an equal amount of potential.

As for ability, it takes ability to combine all of those other characteristics and still have the strength and force of presence to convey new ideas to dusty minds.

It takes a combination of these virtues and much, much more to be a good person and teacher, and it's because of all the extra things you are, Kenneth Ross, that we, the 1979 Murray Arrowhead Staff, dedicate this year book to you...
