THEODORE ROOSEVELT WAS PRESIDENT 1901-1909.

FIRST LADY
EDITH ROOSEVELT (1861-1848).

Born Edith Kermit Carow, she married Theodore Roosevelt in 1886. Her husband became president following the assassination of William McKinley, then was re-elected.

She was First Lady from 1901 to 1909.
